Explore the Tyrolean Alps from every angle on this canyoning tour at Alpenrosenklamm Gorge in Ötztal

Lean back and let the good times roll on this canyoning adventure in Ötztal.

The ideal introduction to a sport that will have you scrambling on all fours and rappelling deep into ravines, Alpenrosenklamm Gorge is a fun, exciting and an all-action day out – unlike anything you’ve tried before!

Location
Alpenrosenklamm Gorge is situated in the Ötz Valley near the town of Küthai. An easy ravine suitable for beginners, this canyon system in the heart of the Tyrolean Alps is 20 minutes from the activity base at an altitude of 1,500m.

Activity
Meet your mountain guide at the activity base in Sautens for this canyoning adventure in Alpenrosenklamm Gorge. Starting with a short safety briefing and kit check, set off to reach the start of the ravine – a 15m free hanging abseil off a bridge and deep into the canyon below. A knee trembling first step, once you have made the rappel, you will follow your guide along a nature trail, walking through small rapids and fast flowing streams to reach a tight passage and another small abseil. Now the fun really begins with a succession of natural slides, jumps and self-belay rappels down waterfalls! An addictive experience which will have you tombstoning off high walls, swimming through narrow passages and going with the flow – use your body to float down this whitewater super high way! A fun yet challenging full day out for friends and families alike – you’ll stick together during your journey, encouraging your teammates to tackle every obstacle and leave the canyoning feeling invincible. On your return to the activity base, you’ll have time to change before farewell refreshments.
