Canyoning Tour at the Almbachklamm near Salzburg

The Almbachklamm is just 30 minutes away from the city of Salzburg but easily one of the most impressive gorges in the German-Austrian alpine region. On this exciting canyoning trip, you can actively create your own tour by deciding if you wish to choose the easy way or a more challenging route.

You will meet at the Wiestal valley, close to the cities of Adnet and Hallein. Here you will be equipped – for a safe journey through the gorges, you will be wearing a wet suit, helmet, harness and boots. As soon as you are ready to go, your guide will give you detailed instructions on how to move around safely.

Then it's time to get to the entrance of the gorge which is near the Wiestal dam.

For the next 1-2 hours, you will be spending your time discovering and swimming through the huge and mystic gorges. You will jump from several spots during the tour – some are as high as 10 metres!
