This self-guided canoe trip down the Rouge River usually takes between 2.5 and 4 hours, depending on how many breaks you take. You can rent either a canoe, a two-seater that can accommodate a third person by sitting on the ground, or a single or two-seater kayak that is more stable than a canoe.
