Embark on a surprising adventure in Montreal with a 1.5-hour introduction to caving in the Saint-Léonard cavern, in the heart of the city!

Did you know that you could go caving in Montreal, in the heart of the city where a cave dating back some 15,000 years is hidden? It may seem surprising, but it is true! You can visit the Saint-Léonard cavern in Pie-XII Park, accompanied by a professional guide-interpreter who will show you around and ensure your safety throughout the visit. It is a family activity accessible to anyone aged 6 and over, and anyone who can move around unaided!

For 1.5 hours, you will discover caving in the Saint-Léonard cavern through explanations provided by your guide, as well as some fun activities. Most of the 35-metre-long cave will be standing up, but you will also be able to crouch on some sections: make sure you wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty! A helmet will be provided before you enter the Saint-Léonard cavern, along with a headlamp to light your way into the darkness of the underground world. You will be amazed to find yourself moving around in such a dark and silent environment in the middle of Montreal, just a stone's throw from the city's buildings!

So if you fancy trying out a unique activity without having to travel out of town, don't hesitate to try your hand at caving in Montreal, in the astonishing Saint-Léonard cavern!
