Surf lessons in Famara Beach, Lanzarote

Enjoy the power of the ocean by surfing at Playa de Famara, an iconic spot on Lanzarote and perfect for learning to surf at any time of the year.

Playa de Famara, is an iconic place on Lanzarote and because of its long, rock-free beach, it is the perfect place to learn to surf at any time of the year. The ocean in this part of the island has permanent waves, being perfect for both beginners and more advanced surfers.

The day will start around 9:30 am, we will head to Famara Beach. Throughout the day you will be accompanied by instructors with more than 20 years of experience, experts in surfing and certified as lifeguards. Our team will provide you with all the necessary material, wetsuit and board.

If you are just starting out we will give you a board suitable for learning, normally this will be a soft, long board. If you are already experienced, we will provide you with a hard board to take your surfing to another level.

Once we've arrived in Famara, we'll give you a theory class where we'll talk about the correct posture to take on the waves, the different techniques for choosing which wave to surf and we'll finish with a short warm-up to give you the big time. You'll go into the water with the instructors and there they'll help you catch your first waves. Our certified instructors will be with you throughout the session, you will be able to resolve all your doubts at any time and you will have the peace of mind of being accompanied by highly experienced instructors with rescue qualifications.

You will enjoy the sea, the waves and the knowledge of our team. All our instructors will be ready to answer any questions you may have and will be your support in the water so that you can get the most out of the class. In addition, our team will take pictures of you while you practice, so you can take home some great memories.
