Snorkeling in Tenerife will offer you many opportunities to enjoy an incredible water experience. It is truly a magnificent experience due to the beauty of the ocean and also a wide array of marine species such as dolphins, whales, turtles, rays, octopuses, and many more you can find. The instructor will give you advice on where you can see these majestic species.

Great for beginners, the trip takes place in an area near Costa Adeje where turtles live and includes a 15-minute speedboat ride along the coast.

Course of events

Arrival, preparation of the equipment, instructions: 40 - 60 minutes

Boat ride back and forth: 20 - 30 minutes

Diving and snorkeling: around 1 hour 20 minutes. Maximum depth 5-8m.

Activity requirements

All participants must know how to swim.

So much fun. You are in a small group which makes such a difference. Max, Maxi and David were brilliant, so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be coming back again. There was a turtle but we sadly missed it. All the kayaker screamed and jumped in at once to see it and frightened it away. We did see lots of fish. We also saw dolphins on the way back, including a baby one. What a laugh we all had together on the way back, bobbing up and down whilst holding on. I wanted to get back in the dingy and do it all again. Definitely a trip for all ages. My sister and I are 54 and 57. Been on quite a few trips over the years. This was definitely the most fun. It was a nice activity but sadly enough we didn't see turtles... We saw dolphins, that was cool!

We’d chosen to snorkel from a rib for a couple of hours . The staff were very friendly with excellent English. Sorted out a wetsuit and fins and gave us a short briefing then off to the boat. A short 20min ride and we where off the shore near some fish farms and cliffs. A little choppy we entered the water with some fish around. No sightings of turtles though. Off to another spot and in again say a lone green turtle but unfortunately no close encounters
