The PADI Discover Scuba Diving course is usually the first step everyone takes into the amazing underwater world. Los Abrigos, in southern Tenerife, is a great spot for your introduction.

A PADI Discover Scuba Diving course is the perfect option for you since it will give you your first approach to this amazing sport! During this 3-hour experience, you'll learn the basic scuba diving theory, safety measures, underwater communications, and all necessary introductory concepts needed. Then you'll go into the ocean so you can put this new knowledge and skills into practice.

Your very first immersion will take place in shallow waters, so don't worry about going in too deep.

The dive center is located in Los Abrigos which gives it easy access to the ocean! The activity is done in groups with a ratio of 2 students per instructor. This way your safety is guaranteed throughout the whole session.

Even though this activity doesn't provide a certification, it can be taken into account if you continue your training with the PADI Open Water Course!

The experience of breathing underwater can hardly be matched and Tenerife has great conditions for you to try it!

Activity requirements

All participants must be able to swim. Minors must have authorization from their parents.

Special terms

Please get in contact with your instructor after booking to arrange the specific meeting time.

If the weather conditions do not allow the boat trip, the discover scuba diving will be done from the beach.

The activity could be rescheduled because of bad weather.

Please note you are not allowed to fly for up to 24 hours after your last dive.
