A via ferrata involves climbing a rock face with your hands and feet while using metal bars, cables, monkey bridges, and occasionally zip lines to speed up the progression and make it more enjoyable.
This via ferrata in Maspalomas, Gran Canaria, combines climbing sensations with the pleasure of artificial equipment installed on the rock to assist you and secure your progress. The main route is K3, but there is an easier variant, K2, if the climb is too difficult. There is also a monkey bridge and a swing (both optional).
The via ferrata is approximately 250m long with an ascent of 80m. The approach is 2km long, resulting in a 4km walk in this activity (2km to go and 2km to return).

The activity begins with a short (2 km) hike in the mountains to the start of the via ferrata. The ferrata is a route up a mountain via cliffs or a rock wall. It is classified as either high technical level hiking or low level climbing.
The goal is to reach places of great beauty that are difficult to access; the route is secured with metal rungs at the most difficult points and a steel cable to which you will be attached at all times to accomplish this.
After the ferrata, you will walk another 2 kilometers through the mountains to return to the starting point. The ideal activity for safely introducing you to the world of the mountain.
