Lanzarote a Spanish island, is the easternmost of the Canary Islands, in the Atlantic Ocean, approx. 125 km off the coast of Africa. Its rich flora and fauna and the unique coastal and seabed topography, make Lanzarote an underwater paradise for scuba diving lovers, able to satisfy the most demanding visitors.

As a certified SSI center, we offer an amazing Discover Scuba Diving program that will give you a great introduction to the underwater world. This entry-level day course gives you the opportunity to experience life underwater, in a confined, safe water setting.

Anyone from the age of 10+ can be introduced to the incredible underwater world around the shores of Lanzarote. Whether its the first time, or it has been a long time, you will experience the weightlessness of zero gravity, living and breathing underwater, swimming around with a plethora of marine life surrounding you.

Alongside you will be one of our expert instructors leading you through the shallow waters, ensuring comfort and safety. In the process, you will earn the SSI Try Scuba recognition certification to take with you.

Practical information

Course of events

No experience is required and you will learn basic dive skills and experience what it’s like to breathe underwater in a safe, fun environment. After some basic theory, you will dive in waters up to 6 meters in depth. Once you’ve completed your Discover Scuba Dive, you are not certified but will have the confidence to take the next step in the diving world.

You will be briefed on how to use the equipment, explained the risks of diving, breathing, equalization, and types of aquatic life you will encounter. You will test and adjust scuba equipment. Breathe underwater and swim around in shallow water

Activity requirements

All participants must be able to swim.
Minors must have authorization from their parents.

What's not to enjoy about scuba? Getting under the sea and spending time with the fishes. Managed to see some fascinating marine life and some nice coral - shame we didn't encounter the shark, but maybe next time.
