The Epir Plongée team will take you safely to the marvellous calanques near L'Île-Rousse to go snorkeling and discover the underwater biodiversity they harbour. Situated in the Balagne region of Corsica, L'Île-Rousse boasts a host of impressive marine creatures that are worth watching from the surface!

Once you've equipped yourself with a wetsuit, flippers, mask and snorkel, your aim will be to observe the underwater world while snorkeling in L'Île-Rousse. An instructor will be on hand to guide you through your outing and make sure you get the most out of your excursion. Make sure you keep your eyes peeled for the fish that inhabit the waters of Balagne!

Practical information

Course of events

- Meet up at the Epir Plongée diving school where you will get to know the team
- Quick presentation of the information you need to know to enter the water and safety protocols
- Fitting out with a wetsuit and all the necessary equipment
- Navigation to the snorkeling spot for a maximum of 25 minutes (most sites are within a 10 minutes radius, the furthest being 25 minutes away)
- Approximately 1 hour of exploration in the water
- Return to the diving center

Activity requirements

Knowing how to swim is compulsory for this activity.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
