Sail, swim in the turquoise waters of Corsica, and discover the Piana creeks and Capo Rosso, from Porto!
Departing from Porto, by semi-rigid boat or speedboat, you will sail along the coastline, where you can admire the Piana creeks, a magical place listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your captain will then set sail for Capo Rosso, a cape overlooked by a Genoese tower, to discover its caves and natural pools. It is also the second most westerly point in Corsica.
On the boat or in the water while you take a swimming break, you will be overwhelmed by the beauty of the Corsican coastline, the intense blue sea and its immense rocks. You may be lucky enough to see dolphins or other cetaceans that may cross your path.
You will be able to enjoy the incredible panorama of the Calanques de Piana one last time on your way back to Porto, to get a good overview of this incredible place. The Piana creeks are unique in the colour of their rocks, which come from the volcanic past of the Gulf of Porto and southern Corsica, and are made of red magmatic rock.
You don't know what to choose between the speedboat and the boat? You should know that in both cases, the boat has a size that allows you to enter caves and crevices in order to sail as close to the coast as possible! Both boats are also limited to 12 people, which guarantees a small group tour. The difference is that the boat is more comfortable and can accommodate children from 4 years old, whereas you need to be at least 6 years old to go on the speedboat, in which there will be more movement and you will have to remain seated.
Book a boat trip from Porto and spend a magical time sailing along the Corsican coast to Capo Rosso!
