The tour begins with pick up from Chania, where your friendly and professional driver guide will welcome you into the Jeep, seating up to 6 passengers. You will start with a visit to Terra Creta Olive Mill where you will learn about olive oil production and become a pro in olive oil flavours and aroma. Your next destination is Karavitakis Winery where you will have an informative tour that includes wine tastings.
After learning some of the Cretan secrets to a long lifespan, you will make your way to the Olive Tree of Vouves which is considered to be one of the oldest olive trees in the world! Presently, it still produces olives and your guide will shed light on the important history of olives and its impact on Crete. Now that you’ve worked up an appetite, you will drive to the small village of Panethimos where you will get to sit down, relax, and enjoy local dishes and wine. This experience is the epitome of Cretan hospitality at its finest!
Your adventure continues as you make your way up to Mesavlia, crossing a picturesque gorge surrounded by lush vegetation.
