Join a local guide on a fun bike ride along the Brijuni Riviera of Pula, including stops at cultural landmarks, picturesque fisherman villages, and stunning sea viewpoints! Easy-going and adaptable, this tour is accessible to all ages and levels.
The tour begins in front of Pula Amphitheatre – Arena where you will get on the bikes and follow your guide.
You will ride along the coastline, pass through interesting ex-military zones and thick pine forests with gravel trails, all the way up to fort Monte Grosso where you are going to take a short break and enjoy the breathtaking view of Pula’s bay, shipyard Uljanik and Brijuni Islands enclosed by crystal clear blue sea.
Afterward, you will continue cycling downhill through the deep forest and rocky gardens towards Štinjan bay and fort Punta Christo where you will swap to a flat asphalt road along the seaside trail.
You will enjoy easy rolling along Fažana Riviera, a seafront promenade between thick pines and the sea, connecting Puntižela and Valbandon, passing by pebbly beaches, resorts, and campsites with a fantastic view of Brijuni Islands.
At Fažana, this charming little fisherman’s settlement also known as the pearl of Istria’s west coast, you will have a short refreshment break and a sightseeing walk through its picturesque stone-paved streets.
Then, after this leisure seaside ride and sightseeing of the Fažana, you will continue cycling along the seaside route in a direction of Peroj and from there on the road and bike path surfaces that are smooth and pothole-free, discover amazing places in one of the Istrian most spectacular and temperate parts with 300 days sunshine a year.
After a pleasant ride tasting meal will be served (prosciutto, cheese, olives, and a glass of vine) at a local restaurant. Tasting is designed in a way that does not weigh you down and allows you to still cycling later without problems and continue the tour.
