Set out into the Arctic landscape of Inari near Saariselkä on a thrilling 2-hour dog sledding adventure while driving your own team of huskies! All levels of experience are welcome.

Situated in Finnish Lapland (Northern Finland), Inari is known for its untamed Arctic wilderness. It is an ideal place to experience the thrill of one of the region's favourite winter pastimes and an ancient mode of transportation, dog sledding!

After you've arrived at the Frozen Lake Husky base, just a 20-minute drive from Saariselkä, you'll be greeted by your experienced guide/musher. (*Please follow the listed meeting point directions. Due to the remoteness of the Husky Farm, navigation applications are not always accurate.) Then, you and your group (a maximum of 16 participants) will receive a safety briefing, followed by an introduction to dog sledding and dog sled driving techniques. Next, it's time for the fun part, you'll meet the energetic team of huskies before setting out into the Arctic wilderness.

Travelling at high speeds, you'll experience a rush of adrenaline as you navigate the snowy landscapes of Inari and enjoy the picturesque panorama. Midway through the 10 km (6 mile) tour, you'll stop to give the huskies a break and then switch drivers. Upon your return to the base, you'll have ample time for cuddles and photos with the dogs. Then, you'll be treated to a warm beverage inside a wooden kota (a traditional Finnish wooden cabin). As you sip on your hot drink, your guide will share entertaining insights into the everyday lives of the huskies. The perfect way to end such a unique excursion!

It was amazing, the guide was very nice and helpful and the dogs well behaved. I highly recommend it, it gives a different perspective on the life in Lapland and on the skill levels of the trainers and of the dogs.
