Your tour begins after being picked up from one of the listed meeting points in Kilpisjärvi (please specify when booking). From there, you will head to the Kilpissafarit base where you will be greeted by your experienced and friendly guide. Once you've put on all of your winter gear (thermal overalls, boots, wool socks, mittens, and a balaclava) and snowshoeing equipment (snowshoes and poles) you'll receive a safety briefing and an introduction to snowshoeing. Then, the fun starts!

You and your group (a maximum of 20 people) will set out into the snow-covered landscapes of Kilpisjärvi in the company of your guide. With only your headlamp to light the way, you'll savour the tranquillity of Finnish Lapland's awe-inspiring wilderness. Midway through the excursion, you'll stop for a break and be treated to a hot drink and pastry as you marvel at the Arctic sky. At the end of the tour, you'll board the transfer back to the original departure point in Kilpisjärvi with memories that will last a lifetime!
