Your adventure begins at the meeting point in Luosto, where your group (a maximum of 12 participants) will be greeted by your experienced guide. Once you've been outfitted with a helmet, an electric fat bike, and gaiters, you'll receive a safety and itinerary briefing, followed by an introduction to electric fat biking and winter riding techniques. Now, the fun starts! You'll set out into the snow-landscapes of Finnish Lapland towards the Luosto Amethyst Mine in Pyhä-Luosto National Park.

While you take in the stunning panorama and enjoy the crisp fresh air, you'll learn about the geology and history of the area in addition to the properties of the gems and the uses of amethyst. Riding to the Luosto Amethyst Mine with a powerful, electrically assisted fat bike, your guide will take you to the top of Lampivaara Fell (a small mountain) where you can enjoy an incredible panoramic view of the picturesque Pyhä-Luosto National Park. Don't forget your camera! Next, you'll take a well-deserved break in a heated wooden shelter, sipping warm berry juice and listening to fascinating facts about amethysts, an amazing purple gemstone!

The tour, biking in Luosto continues to the Amethyst Mine to the digging area, where each participant will dig for their own personal lucky amethyst. At the end of the visit, you'll also have time to drop by a small Amethyst Shop on-site for memorable souvenirs. You'll return to the original meeting point in Luosto with fond memories of your time spent biking in Pyhä-Luosto National Park!
