Canoe and Kayak Rental in the Chassezac Gorges, Ardèche

Canoeing in the Gorges du Chassezac in Ardèche is a fun activity to do with family or friends!

The canoe-kayak trip down the Chassezac is around 7 km long and lasts at least 2 hours. It is a great way to discover the Ardèche and its Regional Nature Park while having fun at the same time. The starting point is the boat hut at Pont de Fer, between Les Vans and Les Assions, where a van will be waiting to take you to the landing stage.

During your canoe-kayak trip down the Chassezac, you will take time to admire the natural environment surrounding the river: fauna, flora and geological formations. You will find yourself either in a canoe, a 2-person craft that can accommodate a child aged between 7 and 11 free of charge in the middle, or in a kayak, a craft designed for 1 person.
