Experience a sporting and unusual adventure in the Ardèche by tackling the via souterrata of Endieu, in the Chassezac Gorges!
Do you suffer from vertigo? Don't bother: the via souterrata of Endieu is made up of several aerial passages, enough to send shivers down your spine! With a 2.5-hour route that takes you underground before resurfacing at the vire of Endieu (a natural balcony carved out of a limestone cliff), the via souterrata of Endieu offers plenty of thrills, including abseils (the highest of which is 40 metres high), as well as other obstacles such as monkey bridges and rope crossings.
Supervised by a qualified instructor and equipped with the necessary safety equipment, you will set off on the adventure of the Endieu via souterrata in a small group of no more than 8 participants. Once you have passed the underground section, you will join a mostly horizontal section of the via some 40 metres above the Chassezac gorges. At the very end of the route, you will abseil down a 40-metre high abseil, a fitting end to your via souterrata in the Ardèche!
Less than a 30-minute drive from Vallon-Pont-d'Arc, Ruoms and Les Vans, the via souterrata of Endieu is just waiting to give you some great thrills in the heart of the Chassezac gorges!
