Enjoy the great outdoors in the heart of the Pyrenean mountains alongside sled dogs, even in the middle of summer, thanks to a hike with sled dogs in the Val d'Azun!
Combining sport and contact with the animal, hiking with sled dogs is an experience not to be missed if you want to enjoy the walking trails in the Hautes-Pyrénées in an original way. Even if the snow has disappeared and given way to milder temperatures, sled dogs still need to exercise, and this hike with them in the Val d'Azun is just the thing they need!
Organised by a qualified instructor, this outing lasts around 1.5 hours and takes place on a circuit adapted to the level of the group of walkers. Before you set off, you will be introduced to the pack of sled dogs so that the instructor can select the dog with the character and energy that will suit you best. All that is left for you to do is strap on the specially designed elastic lanyard, and then it will be time to set off on your canine hike in the Val d'Azun!
Accessible to children from the age of 6, this outdoor outing with sled dogs in the Hautes-Pyrénées is ideal for spending quality time with the family, just a 30-minute drive from Lourdes and 20 minutes from Argelès-Gazost. And to spend even more time with the pack, don't hesitate to combine your hike with sled dogs in the Val d'Azun with a visit to the Appel Sauvage sled dogs kennel!
