Caving Abyss of Hot Waters at Tarascon, Ariège

Only 1h30 from Toulouse, near Foix and Tarascon-sur-Ariège, you will have the chance to do some caving exploration.

You'll start your exploration with several abseiling descents and then descend 15, 10 and 5 m high walls.
You'll then have to weave your way through narrow passages to reach larger cavities offering spectacular scenery. Finally, you will reach the siphon where you will be able to dive happily, even if it remains optional! The water temperature is 20°C, slightly higher than the air temperature of 18°C.
You will have a picnic inside the cave. Then it will be time to go back up to the surface with pictures in your head!

Before the exploration, you will meet your instructor at the meeting point and at the appointed time to join the caving spot together. Once there, you will get your equipment and he will brief you on the safety instructions and the progress of the activity. You will learn the main caving techniques you will use during your exploration.

The activity lasts a full day, about 8 hours in total.
