If you come to Landéda near Brest to discover freediving, you will have the chance to dive in the heart of the largest seaweed field in Europe, in Aber Wrac'h. Not only is this seaweed field magnificent for its large seaweed making it an extraordinary environment for snorkelling in Brittany, but it is also home to a rich fauna of fish and crustaceans, as well as seals, which the lucky ones may even come across!
Accompanied by a professional instructor, this introductory session to freediving in Landéda will give you a gentle and safe introduction to the discipline, during a fun lesson based on the pleasure of freediving and exploring the underwater environment. You will take to the water in the Aber Wrac'h, where the seabed is no more than 10 metres deep around the island of Stagadon, equipped with a wetsuit that allows you to retain your body heat in the water at a temperature of between 8 and 15°C. In all, 1 hour and 15 minutes of underwater exploration and discovery of freediving awaits you, in a natural environment that will fill your eyes with stars!
