Accessible to anyone aged 12 and over who can swim, this introductory canyoning course in the Arcueil River, just a 45-minute drive from Clermont-Ferrand, will give you the chance to try your hand at canyoning over a range of easy obstacles, including natural slides and jumps. All this for around 3 hours, right in the heart of the Cantalien countryside!
Your canyoning adventure in the Cantal will take place in the Arcueil River, alongside a state-qualified instructor who will guide you while ensuring your safety. With a small group of no more than 8 participants, you will also enjoy a friendly atmosphere, the perfect way to discover the joys of canyoning in Auvergne!
Equipped with all the gear you need for the activity (neoprene wetsuit and slippers, helmet, harness, etc.), you will enjoy an introduction to canyoning near Clermont-Ferrand in complete safety in the Arcueil River!

Practical information
A canyoning descent lasting around 3 hours.
- Meeting with the instructor at the meeting point that you will have been given at the latest the day before the activity, 15 minutes before the start of the activity
- Distribution of canyoning gear and equipment
- Approximately 20-minute downhill approach walk
- Briefing on the activity and safety instructions
- Departure for about 3 hours of canyoning
- Approximately 40-minute walk back uphill to the initial meeting point
- De-equipping and end of the activity
All participants must know how to swim and be in good physical condition to take part in this activity.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the departure time.
This activity is not accessible to pregnant people.
