Get off to a gentle start in Cauterets with the first few kilometres being easy. Then you'll start climbing into the heart of the mountains, with almost 1000m of ascent. The first climb will take you through a pine forest, where you'll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the mountains and the natural beauty of the valleys.

A full-day snowshoe trek from Cauterets to the Cardinquère peaks with an experienced mountain guide awaits you.
- Meeting with the guide at the local in Cauterets
- Transfer by car pool to the Pont d'Espagne in Cauterets (20 minutes approximately)
- Beginning of the hike to the Cardinquère peaks, with short breaks to enjoy the surroundings
- Back to the starting point
