On your own or with a guide, admire the beauty of the underwater world of the Cerbère-Banyuls National Nature Reserve by snorkelling at Cap Cerbère!
Accessible from the age of 8 to anyone who can swim, snorkelling is a fun activity perfect for spending a good time with family or friends discovering underwater life with just a mask, fins and snorkel. And to enjoy it even more than just from the beach, the Plongée Cap Cerbère team invites you to join them on a snorkelling trip to Cap Cerbère from a boat!
Just 5 to 15 minutes by boat from the diving centre, you will reach a snorkelling site in the Cerbère-Banyuls National Nature Reserve where you will be able to observe a much richer variety of flora and fauna than you would on the beaches of the Côte Vermeille: starfish, saupe, common sars, etc. Depending on your choice, you will have the pleasure of experiencing this adventure either alongside a guide to show you where to look underwater to discover as much as possible, or on your own if you prefer to swim in complete freedom, of course under the supervision of the instructor who will remain on board the boat. In total, you will spend 40 minutes in water that can reach 23°C in summer, providing ideal conditions for your snorkelling trip to Cap Cerbère.
Located less than an hour's drive from Perpignan, the Cerbère-Banyuls National Nature Reserve is a must-see site between Argelès-sur-Mer and Portbou. And there is no better way to discover it than on a guided or self-guided snorkelling excursion at Cap Cerbère. You can even choose to combine your snorkelling trip with a first scuba diving experience at Cap Cerbère for an even more exciting day out!
