It is from the airfield of Sarlat-Domme, in the heart of the Dordogne valley classified as a World Biosphere Reserve, that the team of professionals of Chute Libre Dordogne invites you to discover tandem skydiving. You will have the pleasure to feel all the strong sensations provided by this extreme sport by jumping from 3 500 meters of altitude, while admiring a breathtaking landscape on sites of which about fifteen were classified in the world heritage of the UNESCO!

You will take off from the Sarlat-Domme aerodrome for 20 minutes to reach 3,500 meters, an ascent during which your adrenaline will rise until it peaks at the great moment of freefall! For 45 seconds at 200 km/h, you will feel the incredible sensations of a parachute jump over the Dordogne valley before the parachute opens for a 3 to 7 minutes canopy flight.

As you admire the many castles of the Dordogne Valley before your eyes, your memory will be filled with this memorable skydive. You will finally realize that despite the apprehension, skydiving is an experience to live at least once in your life!

Practical information

Course of events

- Reception at the Sarlat-Domme airfield

- Security briefing of about 15 minutes about the positions to respect before, during and after the parachute jump, then equipment

- Boarding of the plane for a 20 minutes ascension to an altitude of 3 500 meters

- This is the moment of the big jump: free fall of 40 to 45 seconds, at a speed of about 200 km/h

- Opening of the parachute and flight under canopy for 3 to 7 minutes over the Dordogne valley

- Soft landing and end of the activity

Activity requirements

Maximum weight: 90 kg

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
