The Grand-Bornand electric mountain bike night descent is a thrilling way to spend a superb evening in the Aravis mountains. As a family or with friends from the age of 14, you will discover a new way to enjoy an electrically-assisted mountain bike, on the snow at night, along the closed ski slopes of the Grand-Bornand resort privatised just for the activity!
Under the supervision of a qualified instructor, you can test your skills on an electrically-assisted mountain bike at night in Le Grand-Bornand, using only the light from your bike. From the top of the Chinaillon slopes, you will be able to admire the night-time view of Le Grand-Bornand below, before setting off for around 1.5 hours of downhill action, with speed and manoeuvrability challenges. You don't need to be a great sportsman to take part, just know how to ride a bike and have good balance, as well as the will to ride down the slopes to the end!

Practical information
- Meeting with the instructor in the car park below the Charmieux chairlift at Chinaillon
- Take the Charmieux chairlift back up the slopes
- Briefing on the activity and safety instructions
- Adjustment of mountain bikes
- Departure for approximately 1.5 hours of night-time MTB descents on the Lac or Serpentine private slopes
- End of the activity at the meeting point where you will return the mountain bikes and helmets you borrowed
Minimum height: 152 cm
Knowing how to ride a bike is compulsory for this activity.
A minimum number of 4 participants is required for this activity to take place.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Pregnant people cannot participate in this activity.
The meeting time for this activity is given as a guide and depends on the time of sunset: please contact the instructor once your booking has been confirmed.
If you wish, you can take out the Marmotte Futée insurance on site (€3 per person, payable in cash), which will cover you against the breakage of an item on your bike during the activity.
