Introduction to microlight piloting over the Pyrenees, near Pau

Discover the sensations of flying microlights over the Pyrenees: Tiltrotor, gyrocopter and multi-axis microlight, the choice is yours!

Volpy offers you the opportunity to learn to fly microlights from its base in Vielleségure, near Pau in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. Depending on your wishes, 3 types of aircraft are available: the pendular microlight, without a cabin, very light and motorised; the multi-axis microlight, with a closed cabin and large glass doors; and the autogyro, a hybrid between a plane and a helicopter.

After a 30 minutes briefing, you can take the pilot's seat! A qualified and experienced flight instructor will be right behind you (or next to you for the multi-axis microlight) and will guide you throughout your flight which will last half an hour. You will then have the opportunity to fly over the surroundings of Pau and the Pyrenean mountains, above the Béarn region. This initiation to microlight piloting will not only be a discovery of new sensations, but will also give you a completely different view of the beautiful Pyrénées-Atlantiques region!
