In the heart of Pors Carn Bay, south of Audierne Bay and not far from La Torche, Elaia Surf offers you a surfing lesson to discover the joys of one of the coolest disciplines there is!
This introductory session is an opportunity to learn the basics of surfing. You'll be standing up on your board for the first time, and who knows, maybe even surfing your first wave!
The spot
With its crescent shape, Pors Carn beach offers great waves for surfers of all levels. The exposed areas to the north of Audierne Bay are ideal for experienced surfers, while the more protected areas to the south are more suited to beginners! The 10 km-long beach is ideal for surfers. The spot has a 20-meter learning zone.
Pors Carn is not far from La Torche, one of Brittany's best surf spots, where international competitions are held.
The authentic setting of dunes and fine sand is typical of Breton beaches. All preserved by the Conservatoire du Littoral. The exceptional site is also classified and protected by the Natura 2000 law.
The school
The school offers a wide range of equipment and spacious premises at the foot of the dune. You'll find showers, changing rooms and a relaxation area where you can share your impressions after sessions. Instructors can supervise up to 50 surfers at a time.
If you're feeling peckish...
There's a picnic area for groups wishing to have lunch on site. There's also a food truck, "le p'tit camion", based at the school, offering light meals, drinks and ice creams throughout the day.

The equipment is new and renewed every year. Elaia Surf has a fleet of around 100 surfboards. With foam, epoxy and resin boards. They come in all sizes, from beginners to competitors.
