Hydrospeed or white water swimming is a very popular activity in the Hérault. It consists of swimming down the river with the currents while lying in the water with a large float in your hands and flippers on your feet.

Once equipped, you will pass the rapids and waterfalls of the Hérault from Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert towards the Pont du Diable. This part of the river is the most sporty and interesting of the Hérault Gorges. The narrow gorges form a real canyon with beautiful rapids. You can have fun overcoming natural obstacles on a 6 km long course and surfing the waves with your float! If you wish, you can also go tubing on this route.

To guarantee your safety, you will be supervised by a state-qualified instructor. He will guide you and make sure you have a great time on the Hérault in the heart of Languedoc-Roussillon!

During the descent of the Hérault, you will have the opportunity to leave the flippers in the middle of the course to climb, jump, swim, and enjoy the Canyon du Diable to the full!
