Discover the Taha'a lagoon on a boat tour departing from Taha'a itself!
From the port of Tapuamu, on the west coast of the island, a local guide will take you on a boat tour around Taha'a lagoon, a magnificent place that will win you over not only with its scenery but also its rich underwater flora and fauna. A 3.5-hour escapade awaits you, between snorkelling breaks in the lagoon, contemplating the landscape and sharing about Polynesian culture with your guide. You are sure to come away from your experience with lots of great memories!
This boat tour in Taha'a includes 3 snorkelling breaks, each lasting around 30 minutes, with the guide getting in the water with you to explain what you can see: tropical fish, coral gardens, stingrays, harmless blacktip sharks, etc. Ranging from 25 to 29°C all year round, the waters of the Taha'a lagoon are ideal for swimming, especially if you are wearing fins, a mask and a snorkel to admire the rich underwater life that thrives there!
While most of the activities on offer on Raiatea and Taha'a can be done from Raiatea, this one offers the advantage of being done by boat from Taha'a, making it an experience not to be missed if you are staying on the island itself, without having to return to Raiatea!
