Corfu is a diverse island located in the Ionian Sea, off the coast of mainland Greece. It is known for its scenic beauty, with sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and lush greenery. This activity starts at the beautiful Santa Barbara Beach, situated on the northwest coast of Corfu.

This activity is for experienced scuba divers. You can choose from two dives, an 11-metre (36-foot) dive at Megachoros Reef or a 17-metre (56-foot) dive at Vetoulia Reef. To begin, you'll meet the certified instructor at the dive centre at Santa Barbara Beach. You'll receive the scuba diving equipment (a mask, fins, a snorkel, a buoyancy compensator, a wet suit, a regulator, and a tank), and go through a quick safety briefing.

In small groups, you'll travel by boat to the reef. The water here has perfect scuba diving conditions, with temperatures from 17 to 27 degrees Celsius and visibility of over 10 metres (33 feet). Once you reach the dive site, you'll dive from the boat and explore the underwater world of the Ionian Sea! At both reefs, you'll be treated to a diverse sea bed. You will find vast seagrass beds, huge blocks of stone, and small caves covered in corals and shells.

The reef is also home to colourful fish and microscopic creatures that will leave you amazed! In the deep blue, you will often find herds of pike and sardines. While exploring the caves and the holes you can find octopuses and groupers. The highlight of the dive is the unique Caretta-Caretta sea turtles that swim around the reef! At the end of the dive, you'll return to the dive centre at Santa Barbara Beach.
