This beginner, 4-hour private course, climbing in Kalymnos, is at a level of 5a to 6a and is designed for indoor climbers or those new to rock climbing. During the course, you'll have the full attention of the instructor, who will be there to guide and advise you while adapting the content of the course to your level with a focus on climbing techniques, movement, route strategies, rhythm, breathing, etc.

The adventure begins at the meeting point in Kalymnos, where you and your group (a maximum of 4 people) will be greeted by your experienced instructor. After a safety and itinerary briefing, you'll receive your equipment (a helmet and harness). Then, you'll set out to the climbing site. Upon arrival, you'll put on your equipment and receive an introduction to climbing and climbing techniques. Once the instructor double-checks your equipment, the fun starts! Soon enough you'll experience the thrill and adrenaline of climbing with amazing views of the crystal-clear waters of the Aegean Sea below you!

While the session, climbing in Kalymnos, mainly focuses on top-rope climbing, there is the possibility of having an introduction to lead climbing as well (please ask your instructor). In addition, the course covers safe belaying techniques and basic outdoor climbing safety skills with the goal of building confidence and having fun! At the end of the course, you'll return to the original departure point with a newfound love of outdoor climbing and lifelong memories of climbing in Kalymnos!
