You'll leave the base and follow a route towards Old Skala. Located on the southeastern coast of Kefalonia, Old Skala was the original site of the village of Skala before it was devastated by the 1953 earthquake. Upon arrival, you'll visit the ruins of two ancient churches, Old Skala's main water springs, and an old oil factory. Then, you'll climb further to the top of the old village and stop to capture some photos of the impressive panoramic view.
The quad tour in Kefalonia continues on an off-road route towards Alimatas Village. You'll descend on a road through Ratzakli Village to Kaminia Turtle Beach. This serene beach is a nesting site for the endangered loggerhead sea turtles. At the beach, you'll stop for a quick swim in the refreshing crystal-clear waters and enjoy a delicious drink. Then, you'll drive to the southern corner of the island, drifting on dusty tracks. You'll have an amazing view of the Ionian Sea and World War II shelters. Quad drivers must be at least 23 years old with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience. They must hold a valid driver's license. Please bring the physical copy with you on the day of the activity.
