For this activity, you’ll independently rent the stand up paddling equipment from the windsurf centre in Ixia. A certified instructor will provide you with the equipment, including a board, paddle, leash, life jacket, and dry bag, and go through a safety briefing. The latest SUP brands are used, with boards available in a wide range of sizes, including both inflatable and hard-board models, and paddles with a lightweight hybrid carbon shaft that are adjustable in length. It is recommended that you have stand up paddling experience to participate.

The instructor will show you the best area to paddle in at the beach. You can choose to rent the equipment for 1 hour, 2 hours, or 3 hours. Once you are prepared, your adventure begins! Head out on the turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea and try to test your balance. The waves here are generally flat and calm, creating perfect conditions for stand up paddling! From your position in the water, you’ll also have an excellent panoramic view of Rhodes’ picturesque coastline. At the end of your time, you’ll return the equipment to the centre.
