Relax away from the crowds of Santorini and explore local areas on a speed boat from Perivolos Beach. Welcoming private groups of all ages!
Perivolos Beach is a popular beach located on the southern coast of the Greek island of Santorini. It is situated between Perissa Beach and Agios Georgios Beach, forming a continuous stretch of black sand along the Aegean Sea. Santorini is famous for its natural beauty and architectural splendour. The unique black sand beaches and crystal-clear waters make this an excellent destination for a relaxing boat excursion!
Your journey begins at the meeting point at Perivolos Beach, where you will be greeted by an experienced local skipper. You’ll be welcomed aboard the luxury speed boat. This is a private group excursion for a maximum of 4 participants, and all ages are welcome. For this activity, you can choose a 2-hour or 3-hour tour.
Once you are comfortable in the boat, you’ll set off from Perivolos Beach, where you will discover Santorini’s natural landscape, with volcanic terrain and rock sculptures. The first spot on the tour is Red Beach, one of the best known sites on the south coast of the island. What makes Red Beach so distinctive is its unique red cliffs and volcanic sand, which give the beach its name and create a dramatic contrast against the deep blue waters of the Aegean Sea.
The skipper will continue along the coastline of Akrotiri, passing White Beach, another beautiful beach named after the towering white cliffs that surround it. Next, you’ll sail to Black Mountain, where you can enjoy swimming in the turquoise waters. There will also be snorkelling gear available for underwater exploration. This serene setting is a haven for small caves and unique underwater rock formations.
The final stop on the 2-hour tour is the Hot Springs, a natural attraction located near the island's volcanic crater. The springs are heated by geothermal energy from the volcano, creating warm waters rich in minerals like sulfur. You can take a relaxing swim in the waters, which are believed to have therapeutic properties. If you choose the 3-hour tour option, you’ll continue on to Thirasia Island, a smaller island which is part of the same volcanic caldera complex as Santorini. Its landscape is similarly characterised by rugged cliffs, volcanic formations, and stunning sea views. You’ll have a spectacular view of the picturesque village of Oia. The skipper will then sail back to the starting point at Perivolos Beach in Santorini.
Experience a unique tour of Santorini as you sail on a comfortable speed boat with a local skipper along the south coastline, exploring the scenic beauty of Perivolos Beach and the Hot Springs!
