Santorini is a stunning Greek island located in the Aegean Sea, part of the Cyclades group. The island is known for its charming villages, beautiful beaches, and breathtaking landscapes. The island's dramatic cliffs offer panoramic views of the azure sea and the caldera, a submerged volcanic crater.
The tour begins at the starting point in Perivolos, a coastal village of Santorini. You'll meet the experienced guide and go through a safety briefing. Each quad bike will be shared between two, with one driver and one passenger (drivers must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid, physical driver's license). After getting geared up with your helmet and ATV, you'll set off on the trail following the guide!
This tour combines an off-road, adrenaline-filled experience with a cultural exploration of the Cycladic island, featuring some of the most astonishing views and settings! You'll start by riding to the fascinating black sand beach, Perissa, created from the island's volcanic activity. After admiring the contrast of the sand with the turquoise waters, you'll continue the journey to a viewpoint.
At the stopping point, you'll have a view of the historic village of Emporio, known for its medieval charm and well-preserved architecture. You'll be able to see the windmills and ancient Venetian castle in the village. Then, you'll visit one of Santorini's popular vineyard farms. Here, you'll learn about the production of wine and how grapes grow on the vines. The tour then leads you through the traditional village of Megalochori, with white-washed buildings and cobblestone streets.
The next stop on the tour is known as the Heart of Santorini. You'll travel down a path that leads to a heart-shaped hole in the caldera. This is a very popular sunset spot on the island. Then, you'll pedal past Vlichada, another traditional village known for the black-pebble Vlichada Beach, which is surrounded by volcanic cliffs.
To end the tour, you'll stop at a traditional family cavern for some local Greek products! A delicious dish, accompanied by ouzo, raki, wine or soft drinks, will be served as you take in the breathtaking views. This quad-bike tour is perfect for discovering hidden paths and secluded areas of the idyllic island! At the end of the 3-hour tour, you'll return to the starting point in Perivolos.
Explore the rugged terrain, narrow streets, and beautiful black sand beaches of Santorini, on an off-road quad-bike adventure with a local guide starting from Perivolos!
