The excursion will first take you to the îlet Blanc, then to the îlet aux oiseaux where you will take the time to observe several species. There will be 4 stops during which you will be able to snorkel: the first one above a steel wreck where an important biodiversity resides, the second one in a spot full of starfish, the next one in a natural swimming pool, and the last one in the heart of the lagoon of the Nature Reserve of Grand Cul-de-sac marin. The final stage will be at the îlets du Carénage whose particular history will be told to you by your captain and guide. Moreover, he will comment and explain in detail each of your stops so that your excursion will be most enriching!

Practical information
- Welcome at the base of Nico Excursions in the port of Sainte-Rose
- Board the boat and travel to the first stop of the excursion, the îlet Blanc, without disembarking
- Second stop at the îlet aux oiseaux, a mangrove islet where you can observe several species of birds that your captain will describe to you
- Third step of the excursion, a 17 meters long wreck above which you will be able to snorkel in order to observe the biodiversity that has settled there
- Fourth stop on a snorkeling spot in the lagoon where you will be able to observe starfish and maybe rays, as well as barracudas
- Fifth stop on another snorkeling spot, the natural pool, located 3 km from the coast and having many small coral reefs where you can admire anemones, Neptune's brains, sponges and many small fishes
- Sixth and last stop for swimming, in the mangrove in the middle of the lagoon with white sand
- Seventh and last stop at the îlets du Carénage, made up of maritime mangrove and whose history will be told to you by the captain
- Return to the port of Sainte-Rose with a tasting of homemade planter (the captain will share his recipe with you!)
Knowing how to swim is compulsory for this activity.
