This activity takes place in Kapolei, a vibrant city located on the western side of the island of Oahu in Hawaii. Waikiki is a lively neighbourhood in the nearby capital city of Honolulu, famous for its iconic Waikiki Beach. You'll be transferred from Waikiki to Kapolei for this adventure!

After being picked up from your accommodation in Waikiki (please specify your location upon booking), the guide will drive you to the activity starting point in Kapolei. You'll receive a safety briefing from the certified instructor and learn about driving techniques. Each ATV will be shared between two participants, with one driver and one passenger and the chance to switch during the tour.

After setting up your all-terrain vehicle, the off-road adventure begins! The powerful ATV allows you to twist, turn, and navigate various types of terrain. You'll travel down rugged paths, passing lush vegetation and dusty trails. Feel the adrenaline rush as you speed through Oahu's tropical jungle! At the end of the excursion, you'll return to the activity centre and the guide will drive you back to the starting point in Waikiki.

Practical information

For this activity, you'll be picked up from your accommodation in Waikiki. You'll drive an ATV which seats two people (one driver and one passenger, with the opportunity to switch during the tour).

Course of events

- Pick up from listed accommodation in Waikiki. Please be ready and waiting at least 5 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time

- Drive to the activity centre in Kapolei

- Check-in and meet the instructor

- Receive safety briefing and instructions

- Set up the ATV

- The off-road adventure begins!

- Drive through the jungle for approximately 50 minutes

- Switch drivers midway

- Return to the starting point

- Drop-off at your accommodation in Waikiki

Activity requirements

ATV drivers must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license (please bring the physical copy with you on the day of the activity). Participants under 18 can ride on the ATV as a passenger.

The maximum weight restriction is 125 kg / 275 lbs and the minimum weight restriction is 27 kg / 60 lbs. Participants will be weighed in on the day of the activity.

This activity is not suitable for those with preexisting injuries, back, neck, or heart issues, or pregnant people.
