The fun starts at the meeting point in Húsafell, where you and your group will be greeted by your knowledgeable and friendly guide. After a safety and itinerary briefing, you'll board the all-terrain vehicle and set out towards the iconic Langjökull Glacier, enjoying the incredible panoramas along the way! Upon your arrival, you'll receive your snowmobiling gear, which includes a thermal suit, a balaclava, gloves, and a helmet. Next, your instructor will provide an introduction to snowmobiling and snowmobile driving techniques.
Once everyone feels comfortable, you'll traverse the snowy terrain at high speeds, a sensation like none other! Heading towards the Langjökull Glacier, the group will make stops to take photos of the magnificent scenery, including unique ice falls, deep glacier moulins, and crevasses. After approximately 25 minutes of snowmobiling on the Langjökull Glacier itself, you'll stop for a guided visit of the ice tunnel and will learn fascinating facts about Iceland's glaciers and history. Back on the snowmobile, you'll have another healthy dose of adrenaline as you navigate Iceland's topography like a pro and return to the original departure point. Onboard the all-terrain vehicle, you'll return to Húsafell with a newfound love of snowmobiling and Iceland's magnificent glaciers!
