Then, you'll embark on a 5-20-minute walk on uneven terrain to the best ice cave of the season!
Upon arrival, you'll receive your equipment, which includes a helmet, a harness, and crampons. Once you've put on your equipment, the guide will provide an introduction to ice caving, emphasizing both safety and fun! As you descend into the ice cave of the Falljökull Glacier (part of the Vatnajökull Glacier), you'll discover a new world made entirely of ice, admiring the astonishing atmosphere, don't forget your camera! You'll venture down the unique frozen corridor, usually between 30-70 m (98-230 ft) long. In addition, your guide will share fascinating facts about the Vatnajökull Glacier and Vatnajökull National Park. You'll return to the original meeting point with lifelong memories of this unique excursion, ice caving in the Vatnajökull Glacier!
