Fly over some of Iceland's magnificent natural sites on a helicopter flight over the Reykjanes peninsula! You'll land on the Eldvörp volcano for a total immersion in nature!
On arrival at Reykjavik domestic airport, you'll meet your pilot, who will accompany you throughout your helicopter flight over the Reykjanes peninsula. Once the safety instructions have been given, you'll set off on your 80-minute adventure in the air aboard an AS350 B2 Ecureuil helicopter with seating for 5 passengers or an Airbus EC130 with 6 seats.
You'll admire the Seltún geothermal zone, the unmissable Blue Lagoon and the Kleifarvatn and Grænavatn lakes before landing on the unpredictably active volcano.
You'll set foot on a 10km-long row of craters and feel the heat of the tectonic activity below you! You'll enjoy this special moment for 15 minutes before heading back to the air base, while admiring the volcanic craters and the Atlantic coastline... You'll discover some magnificent scenery during this 80-minute helicopter flight!

Practical information
Total duration: 65-80 minutes, including 35-55 minutes of flight and 15 minutes of landing on the crater.
- Arrive at the aerodrome and meet the pilot
- Departure for the flight over the Reykjanes peninsula
- Flight over the Seltún geothermal area, Blue Lagoon and lakes Kleifarvatn and Grænavatn
- 15-minute landing over the craters of the Eldvörp volcano
- Return to the aerodrome and end of the activity
Children must be accompanied by an adult - lap-held children under 1 y/o free of charge.
Weight limit 120 kg per passenger. This will ensure that everyone on the tour has a comfortable and safe ride! Any passengers over 120 kg / 265 lbs / 19 stone are required to pay for 1.5 seats in the helicopter.
Departure times are subject to confirmation: morning departures vary from 08:00 to 13:00, and evening departures from 13:00 to 20:00.
All flight times are to be determined by the instructor due to weather forecasting.
