8-8:30: Pick-up at your previously chosen bus stop in Reykjavik
Your first stop will be the Þingvellir (Thingvellir) National Park to visit the world's first parliament -Alþingi- established in 930, exactly where the North American and the Eurasian tectonic plates meet. You will then pass by Thingvallavatn Lake with its ice-cold and crystal-clear water, coming from underground after being filtered through the Langjökull glacier.
Next up is the Geyser area and Geothermal Park where you will go and walk among the bubbling hot springs. This is the perfect spot to stop and have your lunch while admiring the Strokkur, a fountain geyser, which is famous for its frequent eruptions. You can also find here Blesi, one of the most beautiful hot springs in the Geyser area with a clear southern pool, full of hot water and a cold, blue northern pool.
