On this day tour to Thórsmörk, you will explore with one of our guides the magnificent birch forest & ascend the impressive Valahnúkur peak or hike the Tindfjallahringur trail, both offering an awe-inspiring 360º panoramic view of the entire valley. You will be able to get some adventure via this 4x4 excursion with some hiking (weather-dependent) and the possibility to see some wildlife (arctic fox for example).

On the way to Thórsmörk, if the weather is good enough, there will be a stop at Stakkholtsgjá Canyon, one of the hidden gems of this area.

- Introduction with the guide at Hvolsvöllur or Seljalandsfoss Waterfall parking.

- Drive to Thórsmörk.

- Hiking in the area (depending on the weather conditions).

- Return to Hvolsvöllur or Seljalandsfoss Waterfall parking.

You need to be able to hike in uneven terrain for 3-4 hours.
