Location
Siena sits at the heart of Tuscany in central Italy. The closest airports are Florence, 80km to the north, and Pisa, 85 km north-west. The best ways to travel to Siena from Florence is by car (one hour) or by train (two hours with one change over). There is a direct train from Pisa to Siena that takes one hour and 30 minutes.
Activity
Choose between the 120-minute or 60-minute excursion. Meet the team for a full itinerary and safety brief before being fitted for equipment. A quick test ride will take place before heading out into the wonderful Tuscan countryside - negotiating gravel tracks and dirt roads as you pass by picturesque villages filled with terracotta houses. Expect to pass by 19th century railway tracks and vineyards. There’s also a wealth of animal species in the region, from foxes and pheasants to hares and porcupines. Your team of guides will be at hand to provide a backstory to the panoramic views that inspired some of Italy’s most famous artists during the Renaissance period. Once the trip is over the team will take you back to the meeting point to reflect on this excellent country ride.
Conditions
Riders must be 18 y/o and hold a full and valid driving licence. Minimum age for passengers is 3 y/o. No previous experience is required. All quad bikes are 4wd and easy to handle.
