Discover Martinique's natural heritage on a 2? hour boat trip from Les Trois-Îlets to Génipa Bay!
South of the bay of Fort-de-France, the Mantou team awaits you in Les Trois-Îlets to show you the largest mangrove area in Martinique by boat, Génipa Bay. In small groups of no more than 12 passengers, you will embark on a 2.5-hour guided cruise to discover the mangroves, alongside a naturalist guide who will tell you not only the history of Génipa Bay but also valuable information about its geography, fauna and flora. A real immersion in Martinique's nature awaits you!
During your boat tour from Les Trois-Îlets, you will pass by the islets Charles, Thebloux and Sixtain, before reaching the coastline of Ducos and heading into the mangroves via the Cocotte canal or the Rivière-Salée canal. At reduced speed, you will navigate between the different mangrove trees that your guide will introduce you to while observing the surroundings in search of the fauna inhabiting the area: crabs (touloulou, spider crab, etc.) and other crustaceans, insects and birds (herons, egrets, etc.). Finally, you will have the pleasure of ending your boat tour in the mangroves of Génipa Bay with a stopover on Petit Îlet or Îlet Robinson to enjoy a well-deserved refreshment!
Accessible to all, this boat tour at Trois-Îlets is ideal for families, couples or friends, in a friendly atmosphere that will leave you with superb memories of your discovery of the mangroves in Martinique!
