If you have never dived before and want to try it, Blue Bay is the perfect spot for a first dive in Mauritius! With a large lagoon extending up to Mahebourg to the north and a rich aquatic fauna and flora, it is a perfect place for a first scuba diving experience mixing pleasure and discovery.

Under the supervision of a certified diving instructor, you will be introduced to diving in Blue Bay in complete safety. You'll learn basic safety instructions and diving skills before heading into the water for about 20 minutes to a maximum depth of 6 meters. You'll enjoy the richness of Blue Bay's waters with your instructor and, if you're lucky, you may even see sea turtles!

Practical information

Course of events

- Welcome at the dive center and briefing on the activity

- Boarding of the boat and departure for the dive site 5 minutes off the Blue Bay lagoon

- Safety briefing and launch for about 20 minutes

- Return to the dive center

It is necessary to be comfortable in the water and in good health to participate in this activity.
