Recognized worldwide, the PADI Open Water Diver course allows beginner divers to be certified in order to access higher levels of diving. This is an invaluable certification if you want to continue diving, with both theory and practice spread over three half days. Enriching and exciting, the PADI Open Water Diver course should be taken where the diving experiences are extraordinary!
That's why the team of Tamarin Oceanpro Diving invites you to join them at Tamarin Bay, on the west coast of Mauritius. This is an ideal area for diving all year round, with a temperature of about 25°C, the water is transparent and allows a visibility of up to 40 meters deep, so you can easily admire the Mauritian underwater fauna and flora.
You will have the opportunity to dive on sites ranging from Flic en Flac to the Ile aux Bénitiers, some of which will offer you the chance to see turtles! Of course, the dive sites of the course are chosen according to the weather conditions, as well as your comfort level during the dive.

Practical information
During this course, spread over 3 half days, your instructor will teach you the theoretical bases and the technical skills of diving.
The course consists of a theory module followed by a theory exam, five pool modules (5 hours), and finally four open water dives to use the diving techniques learned and to explore. You will then leave with your world-renowned certificate!
The dive center will provide you with all the material required for the course (book, logbook) and the diving equipment.

People suffering from asthma or any other respiratory problem, lung problems, chest disease or surgery, epilepsy, convulsions, fainting, diving accident or decompression accident, recent surgery (last 6 months), high blood pressure, heart disease or history of heart attack or stroke, heart surgery, ear surgery, hernia, ulcers or ulcer surgery, colostomy, any psychological problem MUST PROVIDE A COMPULSORY AND CURRENT MEDICAL CERTIFICATE certifying that you are fit to scuba dive. Please note that this is a non-exhaustive list and that there may be other medical conditions that will require prior medical approval.
