Your adventure hiking in Jotunheimen begins at the meeting point in Beitostølen, where you and your group (a maximum of 20 people) will catch the bus to Bygdin. Upon your arrival, you'll board the historical boat, the M/B Bitihorn, for the 45-minute boat ride to Torfinnsbu, where your 5-6-hour hike through Svartdalen Valley starts! With a map and ample signage along the way, you'll navigate this spectacular area with ease. However, please note that the rocky terrain and narrow paths do require agility, surefootedness, and being in good physical condition.

While hiking in Jotunheimen, you'll take in the awe-inspiring panoramas of peaks that reach as high as 2,000 metres (6,561 feet) above sea level along with glaciers. Along the way, you'll stop to enjoy your packed lunch and refreshments, enjoying the serenity of nature in the mountains. Don't forget your camera! Once you've arrived at Gjendebu, you'll board a boat and cruise the beautiful Lake Gjende to Gjendesheim. Onboard, you'll relax and savour the incredible panorama, a great way to recharge after hiking in Jotunheimen. From Gjendesheim, you catch the bus back to Beitostølen. During the 40-minute ride, you'll have time to reflect on your experience hiking in Jotunheimen and all the amazing memories you made!
