Meet one of Norway's most majestic animals while learning about Sami culture during this fun-filled 1-hour experience with the reindeer!

You'll be welcomed by your hostess, Sire, at her remote homestead and be taken to where they keep the reindeer, where you'll make friends with and feed these amazing creatures! Since the Sami are reindeer herders, they continue the tradition of taming select male reindeer for sledding and transportation.

During this activity, Sire will also share her knowledge and personal experiences of the Sami way of life, along with their customs and traditions. The Karasjok area of Finnmark is one of the few remaining places where reindeer can roam freely and where the Sami still practice their traditional nomadic lifestyle.

This perfect family-friendly activity combines an up-close animal experience with beautiful winter scenery and also includes cultural sharing and education! What's not to love?
