The Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Nazaré and the Sanctuary of Fátima are the two most important Marian shrines in Portugal. Located 53 kilometres from each other, they are two very different sanctuaries. While the one in Nazaré dates back to the 8th century, the one in Fátima is much more recent, from the 20th century to be exact. The instructors of Portugal Travel propose a cycling tour from Nazaré to Fátima that will not only allow you to see both monuments, but also to explore the wild landscapes of this region of Portugal north of Lisbon. This cycling tour requires a bit of fitness, as it is a 53 km long route. The bike ride starts in Nazaré, in a coastal landscape that will change as you cycle through the pine forest and farmland until you reach the mountainous landscape of the Serras de Aire e Candeeiros Natural Park. Along the way you will be able to enjoy all kinds of landscapes, from the beach to the mountains, as well as chapels, hermitages and villages. A bike tour that will allow you to enjoy a very varied and different view from the one we have of Portugal. When you arrive in Fatima, the instructors will pick you up and take you back to Nazaré.

- Meeting with the instructor and delivery of the bikes.
- Start of the bike tour following the duly marked routes of the Carmelite Route (Caminhos de Fátima, follow the blue arrows) to the Ruins.
- Visit of the Ruins and the Conímbriga Monographic Museum.
- Stop for lunch.
-Back to the starting point following the route of the Central Portuguese Way (Caminhos de Santiago, follow the yellow arrows).
- Delivery of the bikes and end of the activity.
The instructor offers you the possibility to rent a normal bike (25 euros) or an electric bike (45 euros).
